Great for families. Fun playground for kids including a bouncy pillow. Well supplied camp store. Free Wi-Fi. However, there are no bathrooms or showers. Just portapotties.

My husband and I stayed here august through October. The staff was all very nice. It was reasonably priced. However we found the water, wifi, and laundry to be a bit problematic. The campground is on well water with iron in the water. We had to recharge our water softener every week as opposed to the month it normally lasts. We had heavy staining in our shower and toilet. And if we went longer than a week without recharging the water softener, the water stunk like eggs and decay. The wifi is good when it works. The wifi boxes on the lots are unsecured so people open the boxes, smash or pinch the fiber cable on accident, and then the wifi is out. We tried using the laundry facility on site once. Unfortunately the machines are HE front load which have to be cleaned frequently (theirs aren't) or they grow mold/sludge in the seal (theirs did). So we had to take all laundry into town for the duration of our stay. Nice campground for weekenders who don't hookup to water. Not good for long term stays.

Best place in Michigan to spend your summer nights. Kids can play at the OUTSTANDING park & adults can enjoy the beach.

This place has potential but the decision to charge visitors per person at the rate they do is ridiculous. If I go to a state park or beach for the day its $10 a year (with bathrooms and showers) here it was almost $60 for one day just to visit.

Pros- Clean, quiet, incredible beach set up with a really nice playground. Decent spots, although tight most were pretty nice. Really nice staff. Cons- Lack of activities in general. Wouldn't be so bad but there are no bike rentals, no putt putt etc. There are paddle boats to rent but you have to be 18. The store leaves a lot to be desired, not a great selection. No pizza or anything like that. I don't understand the "no alcohol" on the beach. I'd go back for sure and by then I'd expect them to step up the amenities a bit.

While it's kinda kept up, the sites are very tight together. It's not a pet friendly place but campers do bring in there dogs and keep some on cages in the hot sun and they bark a lot. Many seasonal camper that are pack rats trashing up the area. If you like pea gravel and course sand and no grass then you will be happy.

This place has serious potential but they don’t have bathrooms! I thought I overlooked it on their website but can’t find it anywhere. They offer porta-potties but no actually bathroom or shower! I won’t go back till they have showers/bathrooms. Beach was beautiful, clean sand, amazing playground, bounce pillow, arcade was nice, but kids could not ride their bikes due to the pea gravel. We were pull through side 118 and it’s huge!
